Fined!

WWE's Corporate website has announced that both Triple H and The Undertaker were fined by the company after Taker was hit in the head with a chair at WrestleMania this past weekend.

Chair shots to the head in professional wrestling have been banned since the Chris Benoit murder suicide in 2007, when research done on Chris' brain showed excessive damage thanks to the years of repeated, unprotected chair shots to the head.

It looked like a vicious shot. Until I saw the replay, I thought Taker had really taken the shot. The replay shows that Taker barely got his hands up. It was dangerous, and a bit cringe-worthy, and I'm glad WWE is taking action for this.

WrestleMania 27 Results

So last night WrestleMania 27 emanated from the Georgia Dome. A lot of people were disappointed in this one, myself included, although it wasn't a bad pay-per-view. Anyways, for those who missed it, here are the results:

- The Undertaker defeated Triple H to become 19-0 at WrestleMania.

- Trish Stratus, Snooki and John Morrison defeated LayCool and Dolph Ziggler when Snooki pinned Michelle McCool.

- Santino Marella, Big Show, Kane and Kofi Kingston defeated The Corre in an 8 man tag match.

- Edge defeated Alberto del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

- Cody Rhodes defeated Rey Mysterio.

- Michael Cole defeated Jerry Lawler by disqualification.

- Randy Orton defeated CM Punk

- The Miz defeated John Cena to retain the WWE Championship after the double count-out was ordered restarted. The Rock Rock Bottomed John Cena, allowing Miz to pick up the win, but not before Rock beat on the Miz.
