So Sad

This is just so sad.

TMZ is reporting that former WWE Superstar Shane Gregory Helms, who is sitting in a Raleigh hospital with his girlfriend, recovering from various injuries sustained in his Thursday night motorcycle accident, is being investigated by authorities.

It is speculated -- I should note that there are no charges pending against Helms at the moment -- that alcohol may have played a factor in the crash that left him with over 200 stitches and his girlfriend with a broken neck.

Citing the police report, it is claiming that witnesses saw Helms run a stop sign on his motorcycle before crashing through a chain link fence. One witness claimed to have been hanging around with Helms at a restaurant prior to the crash and was certain that Helms had been drinking.

They did take a blood sample from Helms at the scene of the accident to test for alcohol, but it could take months for the results to come back.

If this was a drunk-driving related accident, it really is sad. And I really hope that this will wake Helms up. His friends, his family and his fans are very, very lucky that he survived this.

Harassed?

SEScoops is reporting that former WWE Superstar the Honky Tonk Man is making some stunning new claims in his recent blog.

It's been no secret that TNA has come under fire recently for the way they are treating their employees, as well as an announcement leaking to the press that a sexual harassment lawsuit was filed against TNA Wrestling. Terry Taylor was named in the lawsuit.

HTM is claiming that the Knockout who filed the sexual harassment claim is none other than Karen Jarrett, formerly Angle, and that she was sexually harassed by Serg Salinas, the husband of the one and only Dixie Carter.

He claims that this is why Dixie has been absent from television and claims that as part of the settlement Karen got her job back with the company.

I don't know whether this is true or not, but if this is the case, it's not cool. Not only that, but what kind of person is Karen Jarrett who would use the lawsuit to get a job back in the company that created this kind of hassle for her? It just makes no sense.

Sentenced

Kurt Angle has been sentenced, stemming from his March arrest for reckless driving.

Kurt has been sentenced to a chemical dependency evaluation, around five hundred dollars in fines, and a year of unsupervised probation. A ten day jail sentence was suspended.

This is not the first time that Kurt has been in trouble; previously he has been arrested and accused of drunk driving -- he was acquitted, even though he failed a sobriety test at his home.

Kurt was also arrested, accused of harassing his then-girlfriend, former TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan. The charges were later dropped.

Hopefully, this gives Kurt the help that he obviously needs.

PS. Kurt, we love you, but shut up on the whole move debate. You're just driving us nuts.

Angle Pleads Guilty

My brain imploded reading this.

On Friday, TNA Wrestler Kurt Angle pleaded guilty to reckless driving, stemming from his arrest last month when he was found in the middle of the meridian.

The actual punishment could range anywhere from a $475 fine to a 10 day suspended prison sentence and a chemical dependency evaluation. I think he needs that more than anything.

Prior to this, Kurt was acquitted on drunk driving charges in 2009, and was arrested for harassment, stemming from accusations of stalking his ex-girlfriend, former TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan. Police found growth hormone and other things in the car.

Whatever is going on with Kurt Angle, I hope he gets the help he needs. And for the sake of his three children, I hope he has learned his lesson from this.

Lawsuit Dismissed

A lawsuit that was filed that captured WWE's resident power couple in the middle of things has been resolved, PWInsider.com is reporting.

A long running lawsuit between two motor coach companies that featured Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, and his wife, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque (pictured here) was resolved on March 11, 2011.

The Plaintiff in the lawsuit, Music City Coach, alleged in a January 2010 lawsuit that they were hired by the defendant -- Star City Coach -- to create a custom vehicle for the Levesque family. According to the suit, the work totaled to over three hundred thousand dollars, and there were issues between the two sides regarding payment for the work that had been done.

The Levesques became involved in the lawsuit when a Star City Coach employee began making statements to the effect that he was acting as their agents and passing along specifications about the bus. The suit also alleged that the Levesque family was acting as agents for WWE, which dragged Stephanie's father's company into the lawsuit as well.

When payments were not made, US marshalls seized the bus and claimed that the Levesque family and the WWE family were liable for the remaining two hundred thousand dollar plus balance.

The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning that neither side can bring legal action against one another over this again. All matters have been resolved. Sounds like it was quite the nightmare for Hunter and Steph.

Filing A Complaint!

Hot on the heels of the Jeff Hardy drama comes more problems from TNA in the form of zombie-goth Knockout Daffney, real name Shannon Spruill.

Daffney stated on her twitter account today (which you can follow at ScreamQueenDaff),

"My contract expires today and TNA did not
renew it. I do not know if it has anything
to do with it, but I've filed a Worker's Comp
complaint against them for injuries I've
sustained in the ring and my lawyers said not to go into anymore details."

TNA's treatment of the Knockouts Division has been absolutely appalling. Daffney has sustained multiple injuries in the ring since debuting with TNA, including practically having her sternum crushed by former TNA Knockout Rosie Lottalove. Daffney has not been used on TV in recent months.

Update on Helms

Shane Helms has finally responded via Twitter about his rumored arrest after engaging in a bar fight last night.

"Can't let Jeff [Hardy] have all the heat.
But I didn't get arrested at all. Got
a citation for defending my woman.
No regrets, no apologies.
It could have been worse, I coulda
been jaywalking."

Of course, he is referring to former WWE Superstar and one half of the tag team known as Cryme Tyme's Shad Gaspard, who found himself arrested in Cleveland, Ohio, for what he claimed to be jaywalking. Police say he was belligerent and warranted the arrest, Gaspard claims racial profiling.

Though a citation isn't as serious as an arrest, it's still not very good to be getting into so much trouble, especially when alcohol seems to be involved. Again, last January, Helms and Chris Jericho were arrested for getting into a fight in a taxicab. Both were drunk. In 2008, Helms was charged with assault in a barfight, but those charges were eventually dropped.

Helms Arrested?

PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE Superstar Shane Helms, also known as "The Hurricane", was arrested this weekend . They are citing their report from an announcement made on North Carolina radio station WTSB.

They are claiming that on March 13, 2011, the longtime friend of Matt and Jeff Hardy was arrested for engaging in a fight in a local bar. He and another man were arrested at a bar called Rehab (dead serious). Apparently the other man put his hands on Helms' girlfriend (not TNA Knockout Velvet Sky; they split up). Helms apparently has an April 28, 2011 court date to answer to the charges.

This is not the first time Helms has found trouble. During his time off of WWE with a neck injury he had also been involved in a bar fight. As well, last January, Helms and Chris Jericho were arrested for engaging in a fight in a taxicab. Both men were drunk. Reports also claimed Matt Hardy was there, though it is said he ran from the scene and did not return.

This is going to sound insensitive of me to say, but it seems as though Jeff Hardy isn't the only guy to have had a bad weekend. Time to grow up, boys.
