Trish Confirms Morrison's Behavior

Seven-time WWE Women's Champion and future Hall of Fame Diva Trish Stratus was currently on the Busted Open Radio show and she confirmed online reports that John Morrison snubbed her at WrestleMania.

"I got a bit of cold shoulder action, correct. John
Morrison himself is amazing. He's a great athlete.
I was really looking forward to working with him.
I thought it would be cool if we could do stuff together.
He didn't think it would be that cool. It happens.

"Hey, whatever. It happens. You know he's into
his thing and just didn't think I should be [part]
of his thing, I guess, but I still admire him as a
performer. I think he does a great job out there.
Some people are not smart, maybe? You know
they wrestle well, but maybe they're not smart.
I don't know."

Frankly, I think Morrison should be ashamed of his behavior. Trish didn't need to come back, but we the fans are happy to see her back. Women like Melina should understand that if women like Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria and Molly Holly weren't around, nobody would want to see them...not that they do now, since the division is practically dead.

Point being, instead of giving Trish the cold shoulder and treating her as a nuisance, give her the respect that she deserves as a legendary WWE Diva. It's bad enough they are botching her return hard; the last thing she needs is people treating her like garbage. That's not what she came back for.

I should also note that the behavior from both Morrison and Melina have garnered them heat backstage, as Trish is a well-beloved figure amongst officials. Sean Waltman (X-Pac) tweeted at Trish that he loved seeing her at WrestleMania, but felt horrendous that Morrison was being an unprofessional.

So Glad To Have Her Back

Following up with news on the "Brunette Mafia", Diva-Dirt.Com has posted a recent interview with it's Diva Dirt Legacy award winner Trish Stratus, who is probably my all-time favorite Diva.

Trish Stratus announced that at first she was hesitant to do Tough Enough, citing that they weren't going to tell her who was involved. "The last time I said yes without knowing, I wound up with LaToya Jackson and Erik Estrada," she laughed, referring to the cancelled reality show Armed and Famous, where she took part as a police officer in Muncie, Indiana.

However, when she states that WWE told her Steve Austin would be hosting, she said that she was in.

Trish also professed to love LayCool, the team her and Jersey Shore cast member Snooki are facing at this Sunday's pay-per-view, especially citing Layla, as Divas who have come a long way and done great things in their career.

Not What WWE Had Hoped For?

RingsideNews.Com is reporting that the vignette on Monday that aired between LayCool, Trish Stratus and Snooki was not what the WWE had originally hoped for.

Apparently, WWE only used the best footage that they could get out of the filming, which lasted for hours longer than it should have because of reports that Snooki was drunk and was late by four hours to filming.

On a related note, the guy who was slapped out in the vignette was a guy who ironically sometimes wrestles as the brother of TNA star Robbie E.

Is Trish Going To WrestleMania?

At the Elimination Chamber, the WWE Universe was stunned when returning Superstar/commentator/Tough Enough 2011 trainer Booker T announced that there was going to be another trainer joining him for the reinvigorated reality show that is slated to air the night after WrestleMania. That trainer, of course, is the lovely Diva pictured to my right, Trish Stratus.

For those living under a complete rock, Trish Stratus is a seven-time Women's Champion who officially retired from the WWE in 2006, after defeating her arch-enemy Lita in her hometown at Unforgiven. Trish retired as the Women's Champion, and had even gone so far as to main event Raw with Lita in December of 2004.

Trish has since found herself having problems with Michelle McCool and Layla (Team LayCool), and tomorrow night on Raw she is set to have a match with Vickie Guerrero to determine whether or not Vickie gets her job back with the WWE after being fired. I can see LayCool costing Trish the match, which would then lead to a WrestleMania bout. Several websites are reporting that Team LayCool could team up with Dolph Ziggler, who has since made his return from being fired on the Raw brand, to take on Trish, Kelly Kelly, who WWE seems to really be getting behind these days, and another male Superstar, potentially Drew McIntyre.

In Trish's last few appearances, it has been clear that she has been suffering from ring rust, having been busy with her upcoming role as Jules in the Canadian action film Bail Enforcers, and as the owner of a yoga studio called Stratusphere Yoga in Ontario. However, with her trainer's role on Tough Enough, which is already filming, and with this upcoming match with Vickie Guerrero, there is a very, very good chance that Trish is being prepped for a WrestleMania match. Hopefully, maybe her small appearance with the WWE can give the Divas division a boost that it so desperately needs.
