One of Maxim's Hottest

Huge congratulations to WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, real name Barbie Blank, for making it onto Maxim's Hottest 100 women in the world list.

Kelly made it to number 82, and to be featured on the list at all is an enormous accomplishment.

Also making the list at number 72 is former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, who left WWE in 2005 after her stint on Dancing With The Stars.

Both of the lovely Divas deserve a huge congratulations. Stacy is quite well-known to Maxim, having done a few cover spreads and making the list before.

For Kelly, however, I do believe this is the first time she's made it onto the Hot 100 list, and for that, congratulations!

Injured!

It appears that WWE SmackDown Diva Alicia Fox is injured.

Reports making their way around the internet is suggesting that Alicia Fox, real name Victoria Crawford -- whose sister is Christina on Tough Enough -- suffered what is speculated to be a separated shoulder after taking a particularly nasty clothesline from the newly debuted Kharma, better known as Awesome Kong.

If that's the case, best wishes and a speedy recovery to Alicia Fox, who has been relatively injury free for her WWE career. It is being said that she landed the clothesline on her shoulder.

Looks like Kharma really is looking to inflict damage. Ouch!

More on McCool's Departure

Multiple websites are reporting that WWE Diva Michelle McCool is indeed finished with the company.

Apparently her decision to leave came months ago, as she is getting ready to settle down and raise a family with her husband, WWE Superstar The Undertaker. The plan to split up LayCool has been in motion for months, but WWE decided to hold off once they confirmed Jersey Shore's Snooki for their premier event this year. As you will recall, LayCool teamed with Dolph Ziggler to take on John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki.

It is being reported that Michelle left WWE on the best of terms, and that there is even an office job waiting for her if she ever opts to come back in some capacity. Also, there is speculation that if Tough Enough gets picked up for a season two, there may be the offer of her becoming a trainer for a season.

Kharma!

After weeks of speculation, WWE has confirmed that former TNA Knockout Awesome Kong, real name Kia Stevens, will indeed be named Kharma.

Tonight's vignette of her on Raw saw her snap the head off of a blonde Bratz doll, before laughing hysterically. The camera then panned up to her face, before fading out to "Harm". Harm then became Kharma.

I would like to be the first to say great video production and what a great way to bring her in. I'm glad WWE has taken their time with this and not rushed it.

Speculation going around today is that she will at first be involved in a program with WWE Diva Beth Phoenix, which is a prospect I've been salivating over ever since Kong announced she had signed with WWE.

I would also like to congratulate Awesome Kong for breaking the mold of the typical cookie cutter Diva and looking like a real woman. Congratulations on achieving your dream.

No Return For Keibler

Despite appearing on Tough Enough this week as part of the "Cheerleader Challenge", former WWE Diva and Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Stacy Keibler wants everyone to know that she is not planning a full-scale return to the ring.

"For right now, it is something I did with them [WWE],
but I don't have any plans for wrestling officially and
coming back and being on the road every week.
It was great to be back in the family, and to see everyone
and to watch the kids. It's really fun to see them so eager
to become a part of the business."

Stacy's interview was on Monday Night Mayhem, and is available at MondayNightMayhem.Com. Other topics include what it was like working with former WWE Diva Trish Stratus again, along with her feelings on being a part of "The Golden Era" of WWE Divas.

Back Down To FCW

It is being reported that Kaitlyn's profile has been re-added back to the Florida Championship Wrestling page, indicating that WWE has sent the NXT Season 3 winner back down to developmental for some re-tooling.

Kaitlyn has not been seen on WWE programming in ages, and it seems as though creative has done nothing with her since she won the competition some months ago.

This could be a good thing for her, perhaps they are seeing to it that she gets more training before she becomes a bona fide Diva, since her experience on the show was very limited, but with all the recent signings and the coming debut of Awesome Kong, there is a good shot that this is a bad omen for her.

I should note that a good portion of Divas that get sent down to developmental -- like Christy Hemme -- wind up getting released.

New Diva?

EWrestlingnews is reporting that WWE has signed 20 year old female wrestler Britani Knight to a WWE Divas contract.

Knight is known as the "Norfolk Doll" and comes from a famous wrestling family in the United Kingdom known as the "Knight Dynasty". She currently works for both EVE and Shimmer promotions.

Just to put this out there, but I like her look. She kind of reminds me of Lacey from Flyleaf.

Leaving?

EWrestlingNews.Com is reporting that WWE Diva and former TNA Knockout Gail Kim is contemplating leaving the company when her contract goes up this coming November.

Gail joined WWE the first time in 2003, leaving in 2004 before pioneering the TNA Knockouts division. She returned to WWE, signing a three year contract in 2008.

Former WWE Diva and WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Lynn Sytch (pka Sunny) is claiming that Gail is set to get married this year, something that Gail has neither confirmed nor denied.

No-Show!

SEScoops is reporting that former WWE Diva and 2005 Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro no-showed an event that she was scheduled to attend this past weekend. Apparently, she was also supposed to film a shoot interview for HighSpots.Com, who did a fantastic interview with Brian Kendrick and Paul London a while back.

Apparently, Ashley remained in contact with everybody up until the week of the show, when it is being reported that her contact numbers were disconnected. Ashley made no mention of any of these things on her Twitter page, other than to announce that she is engaged.

Just putting it out there, but if the fan pay to see you, you have an obligation to show up. Unfortunately, this is not the first time reports have come in about Ashley no-showing events.

By the way, congratulations on your engagement.

Not What WWE Had Hoped For?

RingsideNews.Com is reporting that the vignette on Monday that aired between LayCool, Trish Stratus and Snooki was not what the WWE had originally hoped for.

Apparently, WWE only used the best footage that they could get out of the filming, which lasted for hours longer than it should have because of reports that Snooki was drunk and was late by four hours to filming.

On a related note, the guy who was slapped out in the vignette was a guy who ironically sometimes wrestles as the brother of TNA star Robbie E.

Molly Holly Resurfaces!

Former WWE Diva Molly Holly (real name: Nora Greenwald-Benshoof has resurfaced!

Molly debuted in 2001 in the WWE as the cousin of Crash and Hardcore Holly. She is a former two-time Women's Champion. She left the WWE in 2005.

Molly recently talked to EveningTribune.Com while she was promoting the 38th Annual Sports Night in Hornshell, NY.

Molly has stated that she will make the occasional WWE appearance, but that her Diva Days are over. She currently works as a drug and alcohol counselor, while both her and her husband are involved in church activities.

Heat on McCool, Too?

Sigh. My first Michelle McCool post and it has to do with people who seem to dislike her. Go figure.

SEScoops is reporting that there isn't just heat on Snooki and Michael Cole at the moment, but also on WWE Diva Michelle McCool.

Citing an anonymous but prominent Raw Superstar, they quote his words as saying:

"We bust our asses 250 days a year on the road.
Snooki will cut right into everybody's WrestleMania
paydays. And the show is built around Rock; who is not full-time, and Austin, from another era, too; Michael
Cole, who doesn't go on the road; Jerry Lawler, who doesn't go on the road; Snooki, who is a three-shot
appearance, and Michelle McCool, who is Undertaker's
wife and therefore doesn't even go on the road with
Layla El, who has to represent LayCool all by herself
while her partner gets preferential treatment because of
who she married!"

It should be noted that nobody has issues with Triple H or Undertaker in their spots at the pay-per-view, though they do question WWE's decision to build a lot of their show around people who aren't going to be there long-term this time around (Trish Stratus, Rock, Austin). Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle said recently in an interview that while she understands how wise it is for WWE to capitalize on the Jersey Shore craze, that it puts out a lot of Divas who worked hard to get to WrestleMania.

I should also note that currently Michelle McCool is tending to an injured foot that hopefully should be good to go by WrestleMania. But this is not the first time I've heard people complain about her marriage to the Deadman.

Whoever was complaining to SEScoops about this needs to understand that WWE needs more pay-per-view buys and the company hasn't been in the best shape for a while now. Fans are willing to buy more pay-per-views based on familiar faces. Which means more money for everyone in the long run.

Not At Raw

It is being reported by SEScoops tonight that the lovely French-Canadian Diva Maryse will not be in attendance at Raw tonight for its go-home show, the final stop on the Road To WrestleMania.

It is being said that Maryse will instead be on the set and in the audience of Dancing With The Stars, to cheer on former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and his teammate Cheryl Burke. Last week, the duo danced to "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash and scored a respectable 19/30 score from the judges. Tonight they will be dancing a new routine. You can catch the show on ABC.

Last week, WWE sent Nikki and Brie Bella, along with Alicia Fox to cheer on Jericho.

I think it's great that the WWE is supporting Chris Jericho in this endeavor, and it really speaks to how important it is to leave a pro wrestling company on good terms. Break a leg tonight, Chris!

New Perfume Line

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis has unveiled a new line of perfumes called Maria Kanellis Signature Perfumes.

There are reportedly three scents to the perfumes: Sandalwood, Mimosa and Ylang Ylang.

For those interested, you can order Maria's perfumes here: http://kaponga.com/categories/Maria-Kanellis-Signature-Perfumes/

It's great to see that she's been keeping busy since her WWE departure.

Former Diva News

Former WWE Diva and 2005 Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro appeared on Gregory Helms' Highway to Helms web show last night, and did she make something of a noteworthy appearance or what.

When Jonny Fairplay spoke about a WWE story that took place in Texas, he dropped the name of TNA Knockout Velvet Sky, who is the former girlfriend of host Gregory Helms. Ashley retorted with a loud, "F--- that b-tch". She pretended to act like it was an accident and laughed through it.

The former WWE Diva and the TNA Knockout have had bad blood forming ever since Ashley was named in an investigation several years back. Rolling Stone magazine published an article claiming that Ashley had worked as an escort. Velvet said that she had heard people from Massaro's camp claim that they wouldn't be surprised if it was true and labelled it as "disgusting". She also refused to buy the "mistaken identity" excuse people were using, as it to this day has not been proven. I should note that Ashley threatened a lawsuit against Rolling Stone magazine regarding the allegations, but nothing ever came of it.

Currently, she is taking the place of former WWE Diva Jillian Hall, who withdrew when she was pregnant only to unfortunately miscarry, on the Diva Mania tour that also features Maria Kanellis, Taryn "Tiffany" Terrell-Galloway, and TNA Knockout Winter. The tour is set to begin this weekend.

Keibler Alert!

The WWE Universe's favorite former WWE Diva will be reprising her role on the NBC series Chuck this coming Monday. Chuck airs at 8/7 central on NBC.

This will be the second time Stacy Keibler will be appearing on the NBC series. She plays a character named Greta. Apparently -- I don't watch the series -- she is the third Greta in the series, which is a CIA undercover agent. According to 411mania.com, the other Greta joining her on this series is going to be none other than Isaiah Mustafa, who is known to the entire world as the "Old Spice Guy".

Since leaving WWE in 2005 following her stint on Dancing With The Stars, Stacy Keibler has managed to keep up a steady profile both in acting and in modelling. It's always nice to see someone do well outside of the WWE umbrella.

New Diva Alert!

News being reported is that WWE has signed a new Diva by the name of Tenille Tayla.

From what I have gathered, this is a great sign, giving some fans hope that WWE is finding "wrestlers who happen to be beautiful", instead of finding models and teaching them to wrestle. Apparently, Tenille is 22 and was born in Australia.

Tenille Tayla debuted in the pro wrestling industry in 2008, and spent some time working in the ever-so-awesome SHIMMER promotion. She is also supposed to be appearing on a reality TV show called World of Hurt, which follows students from Lance Storm's wrestling school. It debuts May 1 on The Cave channel here in Canada.

I have not seen any of her matches, but if she's got some chops in SHIMMER, and has ties to Lance Storm, then obviously this girl is somebody to keep your eyes on.

Music Review: Sevin Sins

Since leaving the WWE in February 2010, Maria Kanellis has become something of a controversial figure in the pro wrestling industry. Very outspoken about her contract negotiations that led to her WWE release and very verbal in her sentiments regarding WWE's attitude towards their talent pursuing outside ventures, Maria has since seemingly abandoned a career inside the ring to pursue a career as a musician and as a model. You can follow her on Twitter at MariaLKanellis.

On April 13 of 2010, Maria Kanellis released a four-track EP titled Sevin Sins, the cover is pictured here to the left.

First, I would like to say that the cover is great, though I'm not crazy about the bare shoulders for some reason. The fiery hair I think is absolutely phenomenal. Maria was always one of my favorite Divas, even though she wasn't as strong in the ring as the other girls. She is stunning, and I absolutely loved her as the backstage announcer. I always wished that she at least had a permanent position there. But I digress.

Maria's debut effort is comprised of four tracks: Change Your Mind, Sevin Sins, Alice in Wonderland and the hit single they made a video for, Fantasy.

Let me just say that Maria has a great voice. Often breathy, often firm, undeniably sexy, Maria sounds terrific in all of the tracks, even though I'm not all that crazy about Change Your Mind. Maria's music has an awesome indie/alternative/pop-rock sound that sometimes reminds me of the industrial band Kidneythieves, especially in the song Change Your Mind. I have no doubt that Maria would have a decent career in music if she really did pursue it full-force. I will add, though, that the Fantasy video, which you can see on YouTube, is a bit weak. As well, Maria could use to loosen up in front of the camera a little bit. But she looks pretty fierce in the video.

Would I recommend it? Sure, totally. It's only four tracks, and there's bound to be one that will stick with you. It's not the Piledriver album, that's for damn sure, though that album is terrific just on its camp value. You can find Maria's Sevin Sins on iTunes, or you could even sample it on YouTube and decide if you like it or not. For Maria fans who haven't heard it, you will not be disappointed.

Is Trish Going To WrestleMania?

At the Elimination Chamber, the WWE Universe was stunned when returning Superstar/commentator/Tough Enough 2011 trainer Booker T announced that there was going to be another trainer joining him for the reinvigorated reality show that is slated to air the night after WrestleMania. That trainer, of course, is the lovely Diva pictured to my right, Trish Stratus.

For those living under a complete rock, Trish Stratus is a seven-time Women's Champion who officially retired from the WWE in 2006, after defeating her arch-enemy Lita in her hometown at Unforgiven. Trish retired as the Women's Champion, and had even gone so far as to main event Raw with Lita in December of 2004.

Trish has since found herself having problems with Michelle McCool and Layla (Team LayCool), and tomorrow night on Raw she is set to have a match with Vickie Guerrero to determine whether or not Vickie gets her job back with the WWE after being fired. I can see LayCool costing Trish the match, which would then lead to a WrestleMania bout. Several websites are reporting that Team LayCool could team up with Dolph Ziggler, who has since made his return from being fired on the Raw brand, to take on Trish, Kelly Kelly, who WWE seems to really be getting behind these days, and another male Superstar, potentially Drew McIntyre.

In Trish's last few appearances, it has been clear that she has been suffering from ring rust, having been busy with her upcoming role as Jules in the Canadian action film Bail Enforcers, and as the owner of a yoga studio called Stratusphere Yoga in Ontario. However, with her trainer's role on Tough Enough, which is already filming, and with this upcoming match with Vickie Guerrero, there is a very, very good chance that Trish is being prepped for a WrestleMania match. Hopefully, maybe her small appearance with the WWE can give the Divas division a boost that it so desperately needs.
